This is an abstract landscape painting inspired by traditional stain glass windows in Irish church’s. The painting has a spiritual theme of ‘awakening’ or realisation. On a simpler level it’s about the special time of the day around sunrise and sunset  when the world seems just about right.
The scene depicts a couple of walkers emerging from a forest on the edge of a lake and witnessing a glorious sunset.
