The fifth painting in my 2023 Rossetti Series. Using colours and the dark yet seducing atmosphere of Rossettis portraits I’ve designed a series of abstract paintings for modern spaces, picking up on metallic features and feature colour pops. This painting does change in appearance, depth and hue with the light, due to the use of metallic paints. It is a dark brown black with lighter shades and some gold and yellow pops.

Due to the metallic paint used in this artwork combined with the dark paint with a medium glazed surface being reflective, this artwork is difficult to capture accurately in a photo, as it changes as the light hits it. I’ve attempted to capture it truly from different angles.
