Original Irish Oil on Canvas. A vision of the Aurora Borealis from one of Ireland’s most northerly points – the wonderfully evocative Fanad Lighthouse in Donegal. I have visited Fanad several times and it never ceases to take my breath away. I have just returned from there recently and will be committing some more sketches to canvas in time. This is my only night-time treatment of Fanad to date. The Northern lights simply add to the magic and atmosphere of the place.
