Description
This painting was created from a photograph I took on a walk around the Loop Head Lighthouse. Although this perch is generally inhabited by other seabirds, particularly gulls, I wanted to imagine what it would be like if those inhabitants were the Puffins, which are a little more rare along this stretch of Clare’s coast line.
For me, there is never a time when I walk around the Loop Head Lighthouse that the sea and the cliffs don’t leave me in “ahh” of the beauty of mother nature. This corner of the world is truly magnificent.
This original watercolour painting was created on Fabriano Acquarello Grana Fina Cold Press 25% Cotton paper using various watercolours and white gouache.
