Description

This artwork was completed in two and a half weeks. Acrylic paint offers excellent flexibility and becomes waterproof upon drying. Being water-based, these paints are odorless and highly versatile. Upon finishing the piece, I applied an isolation medium, and after it dried, I sealed the painting with an acrylic varnish to enhance its overall appearance.

As everyone is aware, the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) is a voluntary organisation and operates one of their many Lifeboat Stations around Ireland out of the harbour area in Skerries and have been doing so for over a century.
