Description
The location and construction of the Fastnet Lighthouse has always fascinated me. Particularly, reading stories from Ireland’s Lighthouse Keepers, how their saucers of tea would tremble in storms. It is a true test of engineering in a lonely outcrop of rock. One of the first and last sites of Ireland by passing boats for more than 100 years.
This original watercolour painting was created on Aquarello Artistico Traditional White 100% Cotton Grana Satinata Hot Pressed paper using various watercolours and white gouache.
