Description

Whilst working on some preliminary sketches in oil on Clogherhead beach, I was concentrating on looking in the opposite direction to the Head. But my attention was drawn to the unusual cloud activity behind me so I swiftly turned the easel around and did my best to capture the scene. A loose and moody painting that still managed to convey the warm and breezy sense of the early evening. And the diving cloud.
