Description
Cottage in Mayo Ireland in an area called 12 Bens. A summers day give the lake its blue colour. Clouds rise up behind the mountains to frame the setting. I painted this from an image that was shared online, I found the colours so calming and beautiful. I have been to Mayo many times but have yet to see this view for myself, I cant wait.
Local granite rocks a wind blown tree and a furze bush. Bright summer day with a fresh breeze. Edges are painted so it is ready to hang.
Framed in a neutral colour floating frame with a black shadow surround.
Canvas is 80 x 60 x 1.6 cm (w/h/d). Frame adds about 3cm all around.
