Eoghan Fynes is an amateur artist from and living in Rush Co. Dublin on Ireland's East coast. He has been painting on and off for many years but has only recently taken it up as a full-time hobby. His bold technique and style is created using a range of palette knives and large brushes, (size 10 to 16 Windsor and Newton Brights)

"I love the freedom I have using a palette knife and I enjoy not having to be precise, yet still be able to create an image that looks like what it's supposed to by getting the basic shapes. I also love the thick buttery texture that the palette knife creates when I lather on the paint".

The medium he currently uses are Georgian Oils and Windsor and Newton  Professional Acrylics. He focusses a lot on his use of colour as he finds colour is the strongest point in his paintings and helps to create an atmosphere and adds emphasis to the name behind the painting.

Eoghans' paintings are Abstract depictions of what he sees before him to create a unique scene.
