Ian Somers

Ian Somers is a renowned author, designer and artist. A resident of Dublin, he studied art at Ballyfermot College before embarking on a career as a designer and creative director across numerous sectors such as apparel, print and publishing. For many years he also worked as a portrait artist and an illustrator - most notably on the children's book "Write up my street".

Ian is also a published author and screenwriter. The O'Brien Press published a series of novels written by him that habe been nominated for awards and translated into several languages including Russian and Bulgarian.

He enjoys working in several media, ranging from charcoals to oils, and loves to create both traditional landscapes and cityscapes.
