SPECIAL OFFERS - SUMMER SALE now on many of my paintings. Sale continues till back to school!

Jan is a painter living near Stillorgan village, Dublin, Ireland. She has a love of creating things - sweet wrapper dresses on icepop sticks at first, followed by upcycling t-shirts with embroidery and beading. She followed a career path in IT and found satisfaction in the creativity of system design and technical writing. After setting up home Jan found a new outlet for her creativity by designing and producing printed and then handmade cards, followed by teaching arts and crafts in a local school. Jan experimented with painting artworks for her own home, and then after some time producing artworks for sale. She focuses on colour, texture, and balance and is at ease creating totally random and intuitive artworks. She considers her artwork as being like a beautiful piece of bespoke furniture or decor. She always tries to consider the type of space an artwork would work best with.

UPCOMING ARTWORKS

The Natural Scandi Collection  - NEW!
Natural Scandi No. 1 is launching this August.

Inspired by natural scandi decor, this collection is in neutral tones of tan, coffee, mink, off-white,  copper-gold with some appearances by pale pink and dusky green.  A style beloved by my teenage daughter, this series maintains a calm effortless presence in addition to the depth and character you'd expect from original artworks.

The Dressing Series 2022
Dressing No. 2 launched on the July Bank Holiday Weekend.

This collection of artworks is a series of artworks that I would call 'fashion' influenced with a cubist/geometric undertone. They are striking with black lines and strong colour blocks. They are stark and strong, yet feminine in nature.

The Vintage Collection - Season 2

This collection launched exclusively on my Art4You store this July. It consists of Medium to Small artworks with a vintage-chic theme. Think lace, silk, jewels, texture, flouncy (dare I say Doilies) and with more than a hint of art deco patterns with cubist/geometric shapes. These are detailed artworks that pack a punch - if you are like me and live in home that does not lend itself to this style, or live with people who are not embracing this look, then these small artworks give the vibe without the commitment of accessorizing your home. These paintings are for your own personal space - your study, kitchen nook, walk-in wardrobe etc.
