Kathleen Garrett is a native of County Tipperary and resides in Portlaoise. She is a professional artist and qualified art teacher. She has cordinated many workshops and exhibitions around Laois. Kathleen paints all subjects in various mediums and is well known for her romantic landscape paintings.
She has exhibited widely in Ireland and the UK and says it keeps her mind off the hustle and bustle of life.
Her favorite old master's works are, Paul Henry and
 John Constable. And she also has a love of creative writing and has her short stories and poetry published in three Laois Anthologies.
