Kieran McElhinney

Since early childhood I have had a love of Nature and Landscape and this is reflected in my subject matter. I have painted and drawn in many mediums from watercolour,etchings,pencils and airbrush but have settled on oils as they tend to have the strongest and most vibrant finishes. I mainly paint using my own drawings and photos as references. I trained as a Commercial artist and have been drawing,painting or just cartooning all my life. I spent a number of years learning oil techniques with Brian McCarthy,a well known Clontarf Artist.
