Irish artist Lynda Deverell has been painting for over 20yrs for pleasure but in recent times I have more time to experiment and improve technique. Living on a farm I feel a deep connection with nature and a deep appreciation of the environment in which we  live, so much of my work reflects the local landscape of the midlands - tillage fields, bog lands, canals, farm animals. I am also fortunate to spend a good deal of time in the west of ireland and really enjoy painting seascapes, and mountains, and love the ever changing colours that change on an hourly basis.
I paint in oils on canvas, mainly with brushes, but also use palette knife on a regular basis.
