“The Alchemist’s Barn” is a painting created with spray paint, acrylic and glitter. The image tells a simple tale: an empty barn sits behind a vibrant abstract meadow, while a field of wheat ripens in the distance, ready to fill the barn with bales of straw.

The wheat field is painted with a high lustre, gold metallic and has been overlaid with glitter so it really sparkles as the light moves around the room.

The barn has been painted with fine acrylic brush strokes, giving simple yet intense detail to the centre piece of the scene.

Splatters of colourful paint from a mis-fired spray can adorn the canvas creating a vibrant summer meadow.

Measuring 60cm x 90cm the artwork sits on canvas coated board and is presented a contemporary, beveled black frame and is ready to hang as pictured.
