I chose this painting for a large wall space in an airy and light filled room. I was drawn to it as I live close to abandoned rail tracks and was intrigued by the image of the lone girl walking along them. The painting is even more beautiful than I imagined and I absolutely adore it. I am already on the look out for another piece from this artist. The entire process of buying from art4you was straightforward and seamless. David is very efficient and helpful. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Bought this for my sister she loved it. Excellent service from David. Would buy from art4you again in the future. Great to be able to support Irish artists.

This is my second piece of artwork from artist Johnman. I was so happy with my first painting that I couldn't resist getting another by this unique artist. I am absolutely delighted with my new painting and especially love the use of the Luas tickets as the background and the splash of purple on the mainly black and white picture, just gorgeous! As before, the entire process purchasing from Art4you was straightforward and the painting arrived very quickly with a lovely personal message from the artist. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Johnman is a renowned urban artist best known for spray painting intricate, hand cut stencils onto train tickets and other colourful backgrounds and objects.

He likes to take old or familiar objects and breathe new life into them by using them as his canvas and artistic inspiration. Inspired by Graffiti’s roots with the painting of trains; he set about spray painting intricately hand cut stencils onto train tickets, old signs, and other media which are then hand finished with acrylic
ink in his own unique style.

This work is interspersed with occasional brightly coloured works on more conventional stretched canvases.

British born; Johnman started his journey into the urban art world with Devon’s Arts Anonymous. He now resides in Dublinwith his wife and young son and is a professional member of Visual Artist's Ireland.
He was a finalist in the Inaugural Stencil Art Prize in Sydney with his train ticket art and has exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibitions, including Art Osaka in Japan and a solo show in London's Graffik Gallery. His work has been published in both of the Upfest Urban Art Festival Books and Bizarre Magazine.
His artwork resides in private collections around the globe. A self proclaimed romantic, this is often reflected in his artwork. If you know where he’s exhibiting or painting then keep your eyes peeled for one of his hand painted pebbles, inscribed with his mantra “The best things in life aren’t things”.
