This painting entitled “The Best Things…” depicts a mother and daughter enjoying an evening stroll along the beach as the tide rolls out.

The reflections in the wet sand have been painted with silver, overlaid with a touch of pink and blue, mirroring the colours in the sunset sky.  A dusting of glitter makes it really sparkle in the light alongside the metallic gold paint used for the sand.
