Hi I'm Angela, a coloured pencil artist living by the coast in Dublin.
I draw pet portraits, wildlife, both large and small, birds and flowers. I love the natural world in all it's stages and try to capture the essence and character of the subjects I choose. It's a look in the eyes or the tilt of the head, the texture or colour of the skin or fur or feathers, the beauty of a new bud to the wilting of a faded flower. They all have a story.
I work with artist quality, lightfast coloured pencils on Pastelmat, hot pressed watercolour paper or drafting film...depending on the subject.
