“Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness”
(Anni Albers)
With my art I try to bring the outside in as art is good for the soul. My
inspiration comes from the world around us and I seek to find beauty in less
obvious subjects. Sometimes a walk in the country or town will provide the
impetus to paint. Alternatively, a photograph will motivate me. I like to blur
the lines between traditional and modern art and I adore colour. Movement
and light are captured in my work to tell the story of the painting and every
piece tells a tale. I paint primarily in oils with brush and palette knife. I look
forward to bringing my live exhibitions to this online forum. Painting is my
passion and joy and hopefully I will bring happiness to you through my work.
