Ivica Stojanović Konig

Artist Ivica Stojanović Konig was born on 1961, december 18  in Sisak, Croatia. I finished primary and secondary school in my hometown and I received my university education at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.

I showed an interest in fine art back in elementary school but I wasn’t active until 1988 when I started painting after reading a book about the life of painter Vincent VanGoog. I started with pencil drawings, then oils on canvas until I discovered watercolors that remained my dominant technique.

I was one of the founders of the art association Sulikum, Sisak. I had several solo exhibitions as well as group ones. I have also participated in several charity exhibitions and auctions with my works.

I have been living and working in Dublin since 2017
