Maria E Kavanagh

I am an artist whose work is deeply rooted in Jungian psychology, art therapy, and the transformative power of shadow work. I hold a Level 8 qualification in Jungian Psychology with Art Therapy from Limerick School of Art and Design, and I specialise in creating spaces where creativity and the unconscious can meet.

Through my art therapy sessions, I guide individuals on journeys of self-discovery, helping them explore the hidden aspects of the psyche, confront personal narratives, and integrate the shadow into a fuller sense of self. My own creative practice is informed by the same process — using symbolic imagery, intuitive mark-making, and deeply personal themes to bring the unseen into form.

My work is both an exploration and an offering — a bridge between the conscious and unconscious, the seen and unseen — for those who seek depth, transformation, and a deeper connection to their inner world.
