Michaela McCarroll

Michaela McCarroll,  born in 1973 in Germany,  studied fine art in Aberystwyth at the University College of Wales and has been living in Co. Roscommon since 2000.

Her paintings are chiefly inspired by her surrounding environment,  rural and urban landscapes and buildings.

Using loose brush strokes and various methods of paint application the finished work is based on sketches, photographs and memories,  influenced by personal emotions and associations of the particular scene or building.
