The Barn Owl painting is part of an Amazing Wildlife Series. One of my favourite artworks of the series which fully encapsulates the stillness and peacefulness as well as the majesty of the Barn Owl.

The artworks within the Amazing Wildlife series were all picked intuitively, or by ‘calling’. I felt drawn to the animals and decided to depict them.

Paintings within this series aim to visually explore the beauty, humble strength, and depth of character of wildlife.

Each animal looks intensely back at the viewer with the same amount of wonder and fear as one can imagine feeling when seeing the creatures in their natural habitats. The series is about the empathy and connection between the wild creatures and the observer.
