Description

When I begin a work, I am never sure of the outcome. I use repeated imagery, such as the technical drawings, or the stencils, like a secret language.
I begin with the title, taken from phrase, a title of a song, a new word I have learnt, a past remark of a friend.
The art will then unfold as I use the A4 space incorporating elements, techniques, experience from my previous thirty years study of art.
The work is complete when everything balances compositionally with, and without a frame; this includes the limited colour choices.
