Description
When I started this piece, I kept picturing a quiet figure standing in the middle of a vast glen. Not posing, not demanding attention, just existing with a kind of natural authority. She felt like someone who belongs to the land itself, a woman who notices every small creature slipping through the grass and every shift of the wind across the hills.
As I painted her, she became this gentle guardian in my mind — human enough to understand the world, but touched by something older, something that ties her to the mountains and the animals around her. She doesn’t rule anything; she simply watches, and somehow that feels like enough to keep the whole place breathing.
