I live in Dublin, Ireland and have always been a keen wildlife photographer. In the past five years or so I have developed my painting skills, notably in Watercolours, and most of my subjects are drawn from nature, often from photographs I previously took. I've been attending watercolour classes for most of those five years, which has definitely helped my technique, and my own style has developed as a result. Most recently I have been experimenting with more abstract watercolour works, and also exploring linoprint techniques. I like the immediacy of watercolours, and try to paint in a loose, expressive way, rather than capturing every detail of my subject.
