Ben Linehan

Working predominantly in oils, Irish-based artist Ben Linehan has been able to contribute his take on themes regarding landscape, portraiture, and memory through a passion for impressionism. Linehan, who was born in 1965 in Dublin, takes his influences from Monet, Bonnard, and Sargent and applies them to artworks that explore the ability of light to stir both memory and emotion. He studied at TU Dublin, where he received a BA in Visual Communications in 1988. Recognised for his use of colour and light, his work has been exhibited at the Green Gallery Dublin, Greenacres Selskar Wexford, and also online at Art4You.ie
