Eoghan Fynes

Eóghan Fynes, a contemporary, abstract seascape painter from Rush, North Co. Dublin, found his passion for art during the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020. He began exploring abstract styles, focusing on the coastal scenes that define his hometown and the coastal areas of Fingal.

Using predominantly oil paints and various palette knives and brushes, Eóghan captures the drama and beauty of the local coastline, bringing the rugged landscapes of Rush, Skerries, Loughshinny and Donabate to life with rich, vibrant colours and bold mark making.

Eoghan’s  work reflects a deep connection to the area, offering a unique and abstract perspective on the familiar seascapes of North County Dublin.

Eoghan's first solo exhibition "Wild Irish Seas" took place in September of 2024, however he has an extensive history of exhibiting in various local exhibitions.
