Geraldine Ryan

I come from a very large Irish Family.  I painted as a child. Entering a lot of Children'a Art Competitions. Art has just stayed with me and I paint most days in my Studio.

I received a Diploma with Distinction in Botanical Watercolour Painting. I now mainly paint Abstract Art. I am very much influenced by the Great Artist,Turner, and modern day artist Gary Tucker. I find Abstract Art so interesting, and now paint a lot of X. Large Art on Canvas. I try to get a looseness and Vibrance in colour into my art. I have a need to create and this is what drives me. Jackson Pollock is one of my favourite Abstract Artists. My recent painting " The Dance" has everything and is possibly my favourite to date.
