I became aware of art at a very young age, and started drawing and painting.......with Art as a subject in school. Studied Architecture and involved in the building industry for my antire working life. As a result of that the art took a bit of a back seat for many years. When I returned to South Africa after working in Dublin for nine years in 2010 I started painting again.
I am inspired by things of beauty,God's creations as well as man made.Images and scenes that bring on feelings of serenity,solitude and lonliness as well as love of life in a not so ideal world.
My aim is to produce decorative art that the buyer hangs on his wall knowing that he will be looking at it for a long time.
