Part of a pair, created simultaneously between February & April 2022, depicting the chaotic, yet ordered structure of day-to-day life.

A subdued colour palette and subtle textures contained within a seemingly random grid structure are held together by the white keylines. A calm, ordered piece created with oils and cold wax applied with palette knife and brush, then scrubbed back in places when almost dry. Semi-translucent layers reveal hints of what lies beneath.
