I am a great admirer of the Ridley Scott film ‘Alien’ made in 1979 starring Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, a flight crew member on a large space ship called the Nostromo. A deadly alien makes it’s way on board the spaceship and terrifying battle for survival ensues.

I have seen the film many times and thought Ellen Ripley would make a great original portrait for fans of the film.

The painting is done on gesso primed hardwood.
