Description

This is a completely abstract painting which sort of looks like a sunset reflected on a wet tarmac road, there is even a shallow hole gouged out for the sun which probably doubles up as a pothole. None of this was particularly intentional, I intended to do something entirely abstract but somehow end doing something at least a bit figurative in an urban sense.

Interestingly enough I painted it as a portrait piece but then realised it looked better to me as a landscape when I put it on the shelf.
