Description

This striking piece has been crafted with an expression of emotion and imagination, with a touch of sophistication and elegance.

I chose midnight black for the dominant negative space to create a sense of depth and contrast, while to gold adds a touch of warmth and luxury.

I applied varying shades of whites, yellows and creams to create a soft neutral base and to balance the overall composition of the painting.

To create the unique visual textures and movement that flow across the canvas I applied  layering and blending techniques.

The piece is finish with several coats of archival satin varnish and set in a hand made natural wooden tray frame (frame has been wax treated).
