This painting entitled “Dreaming of Dublin” features a yound woman enjoying a stroll across the wet sands of Sandymount strand at low tide.  Walking barefoot, admiring the unmistakeable and iconic Poolbeg Towers.

The reflections in the wet sand have been painted with silver, overlayed with a touch of pink and blue, mirroring the colours in the sunset sky. A dusting of glitter makes it really sparkle in the light alongside the metallic gold paint used for the sand.
