These pink freesias caught my eye because of how quietly they opened. No drama, no loud colours, just a soft presence that felt almost nostalgic. I wanted to paint that fragile moment when flowers seem half-here, half-gone, as if the light is holding them together. The muted background let their pinks breathe, and I tried to keep the whole piece airy, like a memory that floats rather than settles.
