Description
I painted this Liffey scene in oils, on quite a large canvas measuring 76cm x 61cm. The scene is taken from a photograph I took while walking up Dublin’s quays at around 8.30am on a sunny autumn morning. The sun was rising behind Liberty Hall, one of Dublin’s first high-rise buildings, throwing a bold highlight down its side. Capturing the light was fundamental to this piece, from the warm tones on the early morning Georgian facade of the north quays to the luminous Liffey water.
Each print is personally signed and numbered, and printed on 180gsm matt white cotton paper. The edition is limited to 350 high quality Giclée prints.
It comes with a white bevelled edge card mount 20″x16″.
