We were driving back from a day in the Irish mountains and forests, one of those quiet, soul-refreshing getaways, when a huge blooming branch of rhododendrons appeared right in front of us. It was impossible not to stop. We brought it back to the city, into the apartment, and suddenly this wild, natural beauty filled the room. It looked like a giant, soft ball of colour, untouched, unexpected, magical.
