This painting entitled “The Alchemist’s Barn” depicts an empty barn, ready to be filled once the golden wheat field behind is ready for harvest.

The field is painted with a metallic gold and glitter overlay so it sparkles and glistens as the light catches it. In the foreground is a vibrantly coloured, abstract meadow painted with drips and splatters from a mis-fired spray paint can.

This “Shepherd’s Delight” edition features a dramatically coloured skyline casting shadows on the landscape as the day begins to ebb.   A hint of glitter gives a suggestion of twinkling stars in the darker elements at the top of the canvas.

Measuring 70cm x 50cm it is presented in a beautiful, black tray / floating frame and is ready to hang.
