Description
The painting was made in the impasto technique using a palette knife and a special gel to create a 3D effect. The view at Dundalk Harbor and Cooley mountain inspired me to make this piece. One day, I was walking around this place and discovered wild red poppies growing on the coast. Cirrus clouds reflect on the water and that creates the feeling of sparkling. I was excited about it and the next day I depicted my impression on the canvas.
